On our last family walk around our neighborhood, I snapped this picture of some neighbor’s flowers. I didn’t know what kind they were, so googled it and found out they are called Lantana. I also found this info: “Lantana is one of several desert plants that I recommend for people who want desert plants that are perennial, hardy, low care, relatively drought resistant, easy to find, pretty cheap to buy, and provide lovely color many times during the year” Sounds about right for Oklahoma! There is also a town in Florida named after the plant…. how would we learn anything without google these days? : ) Wouldn’t they be neat to grow? I might just see if our seed store has any for sale this Spring!

Very nice. Great job on the focus!
This is really pretty, Julia! Lantana is a great Texas plant.
We see a lot of Lantana in our town, but I don’t think I’ve seen that color combination. Beautiful!
Thanks for the comments ladies : )
Beautiful … I love the dark green background.
